Most times, telling people what they can’t do either has them stop doing it, or stop you from knowing that they’re doing it. It’s once you tell them that they have to do it (whatever “it” is) that they will fight you.

The NY thing, is exactly why I said what I said. I have a friend who used to work for FEMA. I asked how long it would take for them to build re-education camps. He said, not long. Who knows for sure if they will do this, or not, but I think they would if they thought they could get away with it.
