I hope this was an unplanned overreaction and not a “hit” to promote some preplanned narrative.
Is sad to see those in Congress use this young woman’s death to justify anything other than a true investigation of the fraud claims.

It echoed, reaching
Distant ears,
Fur burning, bright and hot,
His mighty paws,
With rancor slashed,
And through the flames,
His visage flashed,
As spears and blades,
Opened a gash,
And blood poured from the spot,
Aflame and flagging,
Cornered, pinned,
He stumbled,
And then roared again,
Breathing ragged,
Bleeding skin,
The end, or so they thought,
He fell,
And then his mighty roar,
Was silent,
And he moved no more,
and of their vic’try,
They were sure,
A haughty cry rose from the lot,
But their cheers,
would quickly die,
As those that slept,
Opened an eye,
And from the forest,
Rose a cry,
Witnesses to the battle fought,
Beast and bird,
Lynx, stag and owl,
Packs of wolves,
Let forth a howl,
And from the dark,
Came caw and growl,
Rest assured,
The forest heard,
Asleep, they’re not

Their sworn duty to the Constitution shouldn't be swayed by events such as this. They had an obligation to investigate those claims for two months now and all they've done is obfuscate and evade their duty.
They broke the social contract between the government and the people. May posterity spit on their graves.

I don't think they used her death to justify their actions.
Rather, I think that yet once again, they had a kneejerk reaction to the MSM's 1000-point-font headlines all screaming "ANGRY VIOLENT ARMED TRUMP MOB ATTACKS CONGRESS! GUNFIRE HEARD! FOUR DEAD! 52 PRO-TRUMPERS ARRESTED!" ..... and yet again failed to wait for the Truth to catch up with the Spin before grabbing their twitter microphones. ("Alexa! Give me 3 Virtue Signals.")
Yes there was gunfire .... exactly one shot, and fired not by deranged Trump supporters who haunt the daymares of the MSM, but rather by someone who probably graduated at the bottom of his LEO training classes.
And yes, there were 4 deaths, but not at the hands of those same allegedly rabid Trump supporters. Rather, one was Ashli, and three died of "medical emergencies" - not surprising among a rally of 10s or 100s of thousands, a crowd made up of all ages including the geriatric demographic.
