Those are legitimately angry Trump supporters. They’ve exhausted every legal means to be heard and they’ve been ignored. Can anyone with a straight face say that the evidence of Fraud in these court cases has been honestly considered?
I think we’re going to see some serious repression from this. They already had their lockdown plans in place, and now they have the perfect excuse to enact them immediately and target Trump supporters and probably even Republicans in general. If this was done by the MAGA supporters, it was a completely misguided and wrong thing to do.
Personally, I think it was Antifa (I saw videos of them assembling last night and even being caught by some patriots as they were trying to pass themselves off as MAGA supporters). But we’ll get blamed, and I’m sure there probably were a few hotheads in there.
The sad thing is that this whole thing could have been avoided if Roberts had just let us have our day in court, just once. Even if we’d lost, people would feel that they had gotten some respect and been treated seriously. Instead SCOTUS left a growing anger among us at having been blown off by our betters. And this is the result.
