I think a lot of Freepers ought to sit down and ask themselves what the hell they expect to gain by having Congress overturn the Electoral College vote in a presidential election. This cuts both ways, folks. Look at the misfits that fill the halls of Congress and tell me how much confidence you have that this bunch of corrupt @ssholes would EVER do the right thing in any matter of national importance.

Senator Cotton is Constitutionally correct. This whole fiasco could have and should have been fixed by state legislatures.
Laws should be passed in these individual states that all early votes must be counted and verified as they arrive. Not on election day.

The dems have been doing this for decades. They have gotten it down to a science now. SO much so that I bet that at least 1/2 -2/3 of the states had this same problem, but the states already called for Trump did not feel he need to investigate and the blue states, well...what good would that do, except that Trump’s numbers likely were much higher.
That introduces a whole new set of problems -- with ballots that are reviewed and "corrected" by partisan election officials who are willing to send invalid ballots back to one set of voters for correction, but not another.
A better approach would be to ditch the whole idea of mail-in voting and early voting entirely. Hold elections over a single 24-hour day or a 48-hour period covering two calendar dates, and that's it.
If you can't drag your ass to a polling location, then you just can't vote. It's that simple.
That goes for the military, too. Set up polling stations at military bases overseas, if necessary.
