Report: Census Bureau Will Miss Deadline, Could Endanger Trump’s Effort to Exclude Illegal Aliens From Redrawing Districts

The Census Bureau announced Wednesday that they would miss their deadline on reporting apportionment figures used for the purposes of redrawing electoral districts.

It mark’s the first time in over 40 years that the Bureau has missed such a deadline.

“This important process, which has been a part of every decennial census, is critical to produce data that can be used for apportioning seats in the House of Representatives among the states,” the Census Bureau said in a statement.

Perhaps of more urgency, the Bureau did not indicate whether or not the process would be completed before President-elect Joe Biden enters office on Jan. 20, 2021.

Missing the deadline is more than just bureaucratic incompetence, it threatens the nature of our democracy. If the counting is not completed before Biden takes office, illegal immigrants will most assuredly be counted in the process of apportionment.

More deep state sabotage. I also believe the deep state sabotaged his effort to get citizenship on the census survey.

It was tossed on a procedural issue.

The excuse which leftitst bureaucrats give for ushering in millions of foreign voters is COVID. COVID and Biden were ushered in by foreign leftists.

The Census is not an election in which the numbers are certified. While the SC has given the Trump admin the go ahead to proceed, that is not the final court case. It’s problematic because the number of illegal aliens will have to be estimated and that will bring all kinds of litigation from CA, NY, IL etc. as to how it is estimated.

In addition, there’s always litigation every 10 years as to the pop count. Ten years ago, MT sued the Census because the state was about 1,600 people short of keeping their 2nd congressional district. MT lost, but are expecting to get their 2nd district back this census. Multiple cities/states always challenge the pop counts and if they can prove it to the census, the bureau will change the number. This year should bring even more challenges since the Bureau had to knock on 53 million abodes that did not initially respond, starting in July and finishing in Oct because of Covid. They usually start field work on April 1 and lots of people moved out of NYC, DC etc to escape Covid. The houses/apts were empty or new people had moved in and it was difficult getting an accurate count as to who lived at that address on April 1st. There is going to be lots of court cases.

Since the illegals send billions HOME they do not live here any more than out of state college students live in those states or millions of visitors to Disneyland and Disneyworld need to be counted in Florida or California.

I understand and get it. However, I’m not the one you need to convince. Illegals have always been included in the House apportionment, with the 1980 census being the first census that the apportionment was skewed because of illegals. Obviously, it’s become more skewed with each census.
