A federal judge has agreed to allow a Georgia county to require that certain voters cast provisional ballots, just days before two runoff elections in the state that will decide control of the U.S. Senate.
More than 4,000 voters faced eligibility challenges ahead of the Jan. 5 runoffs based on unverified postal change-of-address records. The new injunction from U.S. District Court Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner, issued just before midnight on Wednesday, replaces an earlier restraining order she had issued that prevented Muscogee County from forcing those voters to cast provisional ballots at all. The latest order represents a significant move in the direction the county board urged during a court hearing earlier Wednesday.

Muscogee County’s argument on the facts and the law prevailed. The judge (Stacey Abram’s sister) then revoked her temporary restraining order preventing the county from requiring voters with changed addresses to cast provisional ballots. This is a (rare) victory for the county and for the rule of law.
Just so you realize that this “judge” is the sister of Stacey Abrams.
Let that sink in.
Criminal liberal judge. She would recuse herself if she had the slightest amount of integrity in her bones.

I’m sorry if this seems harsh, or insensitive. But watching layer upon layer of corruption piling up in GA, with the zealous, enthusiastic pushing of the Governor, the SoS, et al; brings me to the painful conclusion that the only remedy for this corruption is another visit from William T. Sherman and Associates.
Seems these judge’s orders are tied to bungee cords...

You often hear of women who write letters to convicts. This lady judge married one. Now, this ex-con’s conviction was overturned, along with hundreds of others, because of problems with a forensic tech’s systematic falsification of evidence. My guess is a good number of these suspects were guilty, but they got off because this tech gilded the lily, and was found out.

Is this lady’s husband innocent? Maybe. But I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard about the guy getting arrested on similar charges in the future.
