In all the gloom and doom, and media-driven nihilism, there is actually an array of good news. As many predicted, as testing spreads, and we get a better idea of the actual number and nature of cases, the death rate from coronavirus slowly but also seems to steadily decline.
Early estimates from the World Health Organization and the modeling of pessimists of a constant 4 percent death rate for those infected with the virus are for now proving exaggerated for the United States. More likely, as testing spreads, our fatality rates could descend to near 1 percent.
There is some evidence from Germany and to a lesser extent South Korea, that it may be possible to see the fatality rate dip below 1 percent. And with the breathing space from the lockdown, better hygiene (the degree of constant and near-obsessive cleaning at businesses that are still open is quite amazing), more knowledge and data, better medical protocols, the use of some efficacious drugs, warmer weather, and experience with the disease will, in perfect-storm fashion, begin to mitigate the effects of the virus.

I have serious doubts that the # of reported deaths due to the Wuhan flu are actually from the Wuhan flu. Any figures available on the # of deaths from the seasonal flu/Pneumonia for which many of us get flu shots?
It’s no worse than the flu UNLESS you are served a covid cocktail by the deep state and CCP. This is a bioweapon and it can be used to take out certain people. Make no mistake, The CCP used this to destroy our economy and the demonrats are keeping it going to further their agendas, but the CCP sees cooperating deep staters as expendable and will get rid of them.
Our politicians had better wise up and give Trump his win, or there will be a revolution. People are not going to accept a fraudulent, contrived FAKE ELECTION throwing a CCP/deep state puppet into the Presidency.

I guess you thought wrong. Just checked cumulative US figures. There have been 19.6 million “cases” and 339 thousand deaths. That works out to a 1.73% death rate and a 98.27% survival rate.
While 98.27% survival is not the Black Death level it is certainly far worse that the 99.995% rate you put forth.
Graveyards are fill with irreplaceable people.

Yes, the “COVID case counts” are likely overstated. Just as the “COVID deaths” are likely overstated by similar percentages. I wasn’t getting to the accuracy of the raw counts but was trying to get to more accurate survival rates than some put forward.
death rate is around .25% or less... this has been obvious since April... its largely a manufactured crises... facts do not back up anything they are doing.
Masks won’t prevent you from being exposed, and locking you down only, at best time shifts your exposure...

Yes.
And the case fatality rate is artifactually high in my opinion because it is inclusive of all time periods and the early period when only the sickest select few were being tested and there was a 10% case fatality rate in April skews the data.
I’m mostly neutral on this, but here’s additional background to consider:
Reuters reports that 2020 mortalities were up somewhere around 20% in Russia and up 20% in the Netherlands.
Current COVID death figures are inflated by a factor of at least three.
