I’m thinking the $5 gas and doubled electric rates under President Kamalamadingdong Devi Gopalan-Harris should be helpful to the cause.
I hope Ron DeSantis runs for president in 2024.
I'm afraid you are 100% correct. Pence is not a fighter.
Is Pence Christian? Or Deep State? You CAN’T be both.
Kristi Noem has a fresh face...
Very true. It's also interesting to look at threads about Trump himself from that time. When he teased a run in 2011, the reaction was broadly negative: He was an egotistical reality TV star, he was a New York liberal, and he was going to be Obama's Perot.
When he tried the "October Surprise" in 2012 and said he was going to release Michelle and Barack Obama's divorce papers, the reaction was almost uniform: Who cares even if he has them, and he's either a nut or a Democrat operative who should shut up and go away because he is sabotaging Romney's campaign.
Many, if not most, of those comments were from Freepers who were pro-Trump by November 2016 (if not the 2016 primaries).
So, yes, no one knows what things will look like in 2023 when we're gearing up for the next one. We have no idea whether Trump will actually attempt to run for President when he's 78. I can see him doing it, but it's at least as likely that he doesn't. I'm pretty sure he'd be the first President to lose re-election and then run again since Grover Cleveland. If nominated, I'm pretty sure he would be only the second former President to be nominated by a major party in American history, and he would be the oldest major party nominee in American history. (Of course, the first former President nominee, Cleveland, and the current oldest nominee, Biden, both won, so maybe that's not a bad thing.)
