I see no connection between April and December. The real question is what happened in December? Did they have a Christmas gathering, let masks down, no gloves, etc.? To get that many infected at once means something likely changed.

Yakima County has a high population of migrant workers who live in crowded conditions that are ripe for multiple infections. During the off season, they work at Costco stocking shelves, where they infect other workers.

I can tell you, in GA, everybody has "masks required" signs up but virtually no one is enforcing their requirement. Walmart seems to have given up, Kroger certainly has, Publix doesn't seem to have anyone monitoring although they do have a person make announcements overhead, mall & their stores don't enforce... Target might be the only one I've seen with someone near the entrance offering masks.

truth is, a virus is going to be a virus, don't think we can completely stop it....probably should have just let it run its course, with instructions for the vulnerable to stay home .
