It’s looking more and more like that. Obviously the bomber was concerned about minimizing damage to humans...something you don’t see often. I doubt it was someone po’d over a phone bill.. this was political... we shouldn’t be surprised if it came from our side, if AT&T was the target..

I doubt that it came from our side, because the aspect of ATT it affected was just a basic good use of technology...providing the infrastructure and routing for emergency services, obviously in this case, particularly to rural areas.

The person i know who works for ATT maintaining these systems....which involves trips to remote sheriff’s stations and fire departments in the mountains....said that they have been targeted by radical environmentalists in the past. That doesn’t sound like it would apply here, though.

The countdown is extremely creepy. They wanted to minimize civilian casualties, but they specifically attracted law enforcement with the shots fired call.
