“I’d like to say very bluntly our mission is to redistribute wealth,” the mayor said. “A lot of people bristle at that phrase. That is, in fact, the phrase we need to use.”

The purpose of the “redistribution of wealth” is supposedly to fix the City’s schools. Those schools currently spend about $28,000 per year per student on K-12 education, which is well more than double the national average. As usual, de Blasio takes no responsibility for the failure of New York City schools to achieve even near-average results for almost triple the cost elsewhere in the country, and just demands more and more and yet more money.

“Don't even think about coming here right now. Almost all of the best things are closed, by order of our political masters. The term “ghost town” is a fair description.”

Third world hell-hole is a better description.

It is going to get worse if they don't build a wall to prevent people from fleeing.

Asbury Park was spening 36K per Student

They renamed Bangs Elementary to Barack Hussein Obama Elementary, the staff and students were in tears, this would raise the school and make it better give hope to students to do better, the blah blah blah

Before the name change only 14% of the students could read, today after the name change less then 7% can read. So much for that hope.

36K per student and only 7% can read?

Failure factories

I love NYC at Christmas time, taking customers out to lunch or dinner in the 2 weeks leading up to (usually) the 23rd every year. I probably expense 5K in that time frame every year but not this year. I fault NYC for alot of things, especially the damn politicians they keep putting in office but man, there is not a penny of assistance for the restaurant industry in this damn bill! I'd like to see the people there get in Schmucky's face (and the rest of them) and put some damn pressure to get this bill changed.

If they don't well then they are getting what they voted for.

Political Leaders Are Killing Off New York City

They're not the least bit squeamish about it. Dominion has removed fear of voters.

They criticize Trump as a braggart but Cuomo is as much a braggart or more than Trump.

With both parents born in NYC and environs, we had many a Christmas there as a youngster.

Rockefeller Center tree, rink, restaurant on the rink; FAO Schwarz; Macy's.

Last time there was very familiar.

Friend reports from NYC today are dismal. Empty streets, boarded shops, thugs everywhere.

What a shame.

Your Christmas Present: Our Political Leaders Are Killing Off New York City
........................................................
Allow me to correct that: Our political leaders are killing off the USA. Some are doing so with malice while others are doing so through sheer IGNORANCE.

It’s OVER folks, so brace yourselves for major pain and suffering. Oh, and have a Merry Christmas!
