Cassandra Fairbanks from The Gateway Pundit reports, The “Black National Anthem” was sung during the Michigan Electoral College proceedings — following the actual national anthem.
The song is called “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and was dubbed the “Negro National Anthem” by the NAACP in 1919.

Why didn’t all of those elected officials take a knee when it was sung? And why are Democrats segregating people with anthems? What next, an Asian National Anthem, a Hispanic National Anthem, Native American National Anthem?
Way for them to bring America together! Yoo hoo!!!
Are we allowed to kneel?
They were gloating.
The Gift from China which keeps on giving (sarc)
Did anyone ever give it any thought that this crazy virus was released on purpose as a Gift from China to impact our economy, and it certainly has in many different ways. And it keeps on giving to China as it was designed and intended to. It was just another slick way for this communist regime to fight the US without resorting to an outright war in which case, due to both sides technological advancements neither party would most likely be a winner. And to continue this train of thought, at first it may sound a little strange but the other idea behind this clever ploy was to keep the public petty well locked up and in a roundabout way triggering a literal tsunami of mail in votes leaving the door wide open for industrial strength fraud which certainly took place.
I would consider this ploy worthy of a genius, as so far it has done exactly what it as designed for, hurt our economy severely, and along the way exposed our judicial system with all it hypocrisies and faults, no longer able to separate right from wrong and protect one portion of he public who still believes in honesty and justice from the other half who more or less succumbed to subversion and mob action.
I have hunch that somewhere in China some high ranking communist officials are congratulating each other and patting themselves on their shoulders for a job well done and hoping that the final remaining piece in form of the fraudulently selected president will fall in to place, Trump hopefully goes away; and the American public had been had
This new segregation is wrong and only encourages more racial intolerance, not more.
We are all Americans. We only need one song. Anything more is patronizing and a waste of time.
We haven’t even got to tribute songs based on sexuality.
Rest assured, they are on the way.
Let’s see. In five years, we will have added five more songs to sing before beginning the City Council Meeting.
Five songs @ average of five minutes each = 25 minutes
of singing before we even sit down to talk!
They might as well have chanted “Death to America.” Same difference.
**Last word in first sentence should have been ‘less’.
Watch them Crash and Burn
NBA/NFL mad they didn’t think of this first.
WTF is a National Black Anthem?
It’s a song about kill whitey.
China paid good money for this election and dammit they are quite offended the electors have been singing the Chinese National Anthem.
I guess you've never heard it:
Lift every voice and sing
Till earth and heaven ring
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise,
High as the list'ning skies, let it resound loud as the rolling sea
Sing a song full of faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us;
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun,
Let us march on till victory is won.
Jose can you see?
We don’t want to be here ...
We don’t want to go back ...
The only thing we know for sure
is man, it’s great to be black ...
except when cops are anywhere near
then we must be full of fear
still not sure about whitey’s beer
will stick with the colt 45s.
I wonder how the residents of the Upper feel about this as there are all of three blacks in the entire Upper.
