“I’m a Pepper, too!”
um.. she is every bit as much a doctor as Dr. Martin Luther King!
seriously folks, anyone who took the time to get a doctorate, deserves the title. My wife is a Doctor of Physics.
Now let’s see what Mr. Controlled Opposition has to say about recent Dominion findings.
My brother also got his “Doctorate” at USC in political science..yet many months ago when he came over for a visit he asked my Mom where is the kidney located LOL yeah I trust him with medical questions LOL
Doctor Tarr And Professor Fether
Just what you need to make you feel better...
And in a university environment, that’s great.
And believe me, I respect a Physics doctorate. But Education, or any of a number of other “disciplines” in modern academe? Not so much.
They were relentless with Melania, I have no empathy for Jill at this point.
Mediots regularly refuse to call Ben Carson “doctor.” A premium former surgeon who earned his title, but they love the English major.
Then go after her for looking like a frumpy old lady at Walmart or something, don’t go after something she rightfully earned like her PhD
And as Greg Kelly pointed out tonight, she didn’t get her PhD from U of Delaware until her hubs was VP and The Biden Institute was already on campus.
I’m sure the vetting was really rigorous!
I once heard a pompous guy who was a community college instructor describe his brother by saying, “Oh, he’s a MEDICAL doctor,” as if to imply he himself was a PhD, which he was not. (Normal people would just say, he’s a doctor/physician/surgeon, etc.)
Fragile ego at work.
PhD in Science and Engineering are as demanding (maybe even more in some cases) as MD.
PhD’s in social sciences not as much.
The education seems to be the bottom.
The guy who invented Dr. Pepper, Charles Alderton, was a pharmacist who studied medicine, making Dr. Pepper more of a doctor than “Doctor” Jill Biden.
The ONE thing that makes an MD much harder than engineering schools is that they have to cram massive amounts of information into their heads quickly. They have to memorize it. We engineers...don’t. We get time to study, experiment, learn. They way they try to teach MDs is criminal. When I got a Histology book I had months to read it and study. An MD gets what, 30 days? I could spend six months working a new patent on pharmacodynamic drug models, but an MD will get very limited time to read about it and try to work it into their routine. It is why so many docs are good but not great.
The most elegant FLOTUS ever, and =0= covers of magazines, fashion or otherwise.
Meanwhile Michelle was on everything, looking terrible.
I’m with you.
I knew a girl who tried to give me medical advice once. She said she was a doctor. She had a doctorate in women’s studies From Syracuse.
“anyone who took the time to get a doctorate, deserves the title”
Haver you read her ‘dissertation’? It was a joke. It could have been written by any high school kid.
Nice. I’ll look for opportunities to use that.
