Fair... but I doubt UK would do that considering the same concerns... they making money too with him there.
And... if they do want to shut him down, no amount of yelling on his part OR CDC compliance is going to stop them.

He’s a producer on the film and with all the threats of closing down, he’s looking at the money that will mount if production is delayed. I’m sure the crew has been told over and over to keep their distance and Cruise probably just had enough. It’s a headache to keep on schedule on a good day, but with COVID shut downs looming, he finally blew.

I think his continued rant about “families needing food on the table”, “losing their homes” etc. makes it obvious that this rant will be looked at favorably by most Americans.

I listened for about 40 seconds. What I heard was a boss chewing out employees who did something they were told not to do (didn’t catch what that thing was, I’m going to guess safety related since he mentioned insurance companies) that was jeopardizing the completion of the film. The previous iteration of Mission Impossible was $250 Million according to the site I looked up. I think it’s safe to assume that this new movie costs more what with Covid precautions in full bloom. That’s real money. These people are highly paid professionals. Do the work right or be gone.

I agree with the sentiment. I have worked for some bosses who were absolutely great as long as you were meeting your responsibilities and expectation but were a nightmare if you weren’t, but they never were as classless as this rant, and they always stuck to the point and held your feet to the fire on the actual job. The crap coming out of his mouth was more of an immature melt-down than hard-nosed boss.

I can't disagree. I didn't hear the whole thing so maybe it got worse as he went on. Cruise has been around Hollywood since the very early 80s. He is a known quantity. You would think after that much time and 6 previous MI movies they would know what they were in for when they sign up.
Max Americana is in that business. Maybe he can chime in...
