Today marks 275 days since the institution of the infamous “Flatten the Curve,” AKA The Deep State’s Plot to Drive Us Crazy, Make Us Stupid, and Take Over the World.
15 days, they told us, for 15 days/roughly 2 weeks we need to work from home, close non-essential business, cancel concerts, baby showers, bingo games, etc., yada, yada, you know “the thing” (to show my solidarity with a certain presidential candidate) in order to give hospitals a chance to gear up for huge, terrible, overwhelming waves of ‘rona patients.
15 days.
Instead, 15 days has now become 275 days. We can argue as to the exact start date of the implementation of Operation Curve Flattening. I am punctuating it from the first day I began working from home per the guidelines in my state.
Since my last post on this subject, 15 days ago, we see politicians continuing their tyranny, doubling down on it more like it. In San Fran, one is not supposed to get together with anyone they don’t live with, basically. More than half of England isn’t allowed to go to anyone’s house.
And still the sheeple acquiesce in the hopes they get extra hay from Santa. Oh, how I hate them.
I’m sure our governors will order us on house arrest here before too long. At least this gives me an excuse not to deal with the sheep half of my family, who were barely tolerable last Christmas.
Hoping some of you will be able to report some success in deprogramming your relations.
You mean to say the government lies to us?
Never give them an opening
Um, that ship has sailed.
Here in the Philippines just today they mandated everyone nationwide to wear not only a mask but a face shield when leaving your residence. So yes other countries are crazier then the U.S. if that’s any comfort?
Here in Polis’ Colorado we have a Ministry of Truth Nurse Ratched on tv every so often reminding us we’re under house arrest (except to go scrounge for food) and not to go into other people’s homes. The Orwellian aspect of all this is quite creepy.
