The title of the article has been changed to “American Medical Association Votes on Hydroxychloroquine Prevention Order, Keeps it in Place — How Many People Have Died Because of These Soulless Hacks?”. Another vote was taken and they’re still against it - narrowly it seems.
AMA jumped the gun. They thought since the vaccine had been approved they can give the go ahead on Hydroxy (btw did the science change, how did it go from bad to good?). It could not be an approved therapy while the vaccine was being developed because then Big Pharma would not get EUA (emergency use authorization).
I think someone whispered in their ear, hey if there is an approved therapy people might not take the vaccine. Time to backtrack.
If they would have approved hcq for treatment
They would have been unable to get fast track status for the very expensive, moneymaking vaccines that many involved with touting and promoting have financial stakes in

First of all the death numbers are just bogus.
I heard early on about a 2 month old died of Whu Flu. I thought game changer, then I heard the poor thing was born with it’s intestine outside it’s body.
I’ve been following the c-19 study since March. They originally followed the HCQ results (that were great) and now other treatments.
This medication saved an elderly friend of mine.
Her doctor told her it would kill her .(she lives in a liberal city)
She refused to give her any medication .
She called me telling me how sick she was feeling .
I sent her the link to frontline doctors and she got the medication and the z pack . Felt better the next day.
She has asthma and heart condition and she is fine .
Had she listened to her doctor she probably would have died .
Doctor would not order any medication at all and told her to just go to the emergency room if it got really bad .
That is why so many die .
A doctor friend says the resolution does not mean it’s approved by the AMA in general. But so far she can’t find what AMA action was on the resolution.
Since there are almost zero threats of potential harm when taken early in Covid, the potential for good is probably higher.

And I’ve been making the joke that the day after Biden is inaugurated CNN will run this headline:
“President Biden reverses Trump ban on HCQ saving millions of lives. Experts celebrate.”
HCQ is safer than aspirin and pregnant women can take it without harm to their babies.
I guess the doctors who prescribed it for their patients were regular readers of medical journals.
I have two friends who came down with Covid in March and were in and out of the hospital rather quickly. Their doctor's gave them the HCQ before Fauxi weighed in and put a damper on it all.
“Order”?? The AMA is NOT an medical authority. In fact, they represent maybe 25% of physicians and usually those are the newly minted ones who want an AMA loan.
