As an antidote, it might be a good idea to search for some of the pronouncements by UN, WEF, Davos etc from 20+ years ago.
These "supranational" statist organizations always want what they want, and think their proclamations will come to pass, or at least they say that XXX and YYY will happen "real soon now."
I guess if your income and reputation depends upon grand predictions and gaslighting, then any BS will do. It doesn't even matter whether you believe it or not. Just throw it against the wall.
