The “Black National Anthem” was sung during the Michigan Electoral College proceedings — following the actual national anthem.
The song is called “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and was dubbed the “Negro National Anthem” by the NAACP in 1919.
Please remain standing for the National Anthem — and the Black National Anthem…” they announced before having two women sing the song.
The affront to the National Anthem came as Democrats used armed police to prevent Republican electors from entering the State Capitol.
Bite your tongue!
Yep and they intend to use theirs against the people of the usa
Don’t like the country? Get out!
After a minor review of you on FR and thinking about your post, -—> WTF?
Just sayin’...
Jo BiXiden approves...
“...we can give them Michigan....”
ChIraq first.
Those people aren’t Americans, they are evil possessed and brought here by Obama. We sat by and let it happen, our grand Republican Senate still sees nothing wrong with it..so who do we have to blame?
“Most of the state is ticked off and helpless.”
Not helpless, but quietly building their righteous anger. So far. Steam pressure is rising steadily.
Soon, the relief valve will open quickly, and anyone standing in front of it...better run fast!
Nope. Nope. Nopity-nope. :-)
Lyrics to Lift every voice and sing

Lancing and Deeee-troit can become their own countries and live by what they totally believe in. Of course they never will because these failed sh*thole urban areas can’t survive alone.
“Please remain standing for the National Anthem, the Chinese national anthem and the Black National Anthem…”
Thanks!
And nobody sang it like Slim Pickens (with a little help from Clevon Little).
Need to put that on my Festivus grievance list.
Definitely.
“ I get no kick from champagne
Mere alcohol doesn’t thrill me at all
So tell me why should it be true
That I get a kick out of you
Some get their kicks from cocaine...”
What in the wild wild world of sports is goin’ on here!?
Where can I book a seat on the first flight to Mars?
I’m in sort agreeing with a previous post here. They said, “I will NEVER stand for any trendy bastardization.” I heard it and it was just that bad...both songs. I’m sorry it upset you.
