Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh believes the political landscape in America makes it possible that the nation is “trending toward secession.”
Limbaugh, a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, made the observation during a broadcast of his show on Wednesday.
A question was posed by his producer wondering if Republicans would ever be able to win elections again if they’re not able to make headway in strongly blue cities and states.

Those quotes involve “bloggers” who Limbaugh has observed writing extensively that “there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs.”
Leftists are telling you those are Limbaugh’s own words when he was simply making an observation about what others have said.
Shortly thereafter, Limbaugh had this to say:
I know that there’s a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to or not. Whether we want to go there or not. I myself haven’t made up my mind. I still haven’t given up the idea that we are the majority and that all we have to do is find a way to unite and win.
Not a man advocating for secession rather than a man who is simply stating he believes this is where things are heading based on what others have said about red states being unable to have a say in elections.

And yet when the “autonomous zone” was established for NYC bar/restaurant it was not recognized. The stasi arrested the owner and closed the place.
Unequal treatment under the law will not go by
I view it more as a Balkanization being inevitable. I see a few regions coalescing due to where the large cities are distributed. The metropolitan areas will inevitably be the hardest hit since all the key resources are outside of them. F’em.
There is no way GOOD way to divide the map up.
Some otherwise good people would have to lose.
Chicago/Detroit... Philly/Trenton.. DC/Baltimore are all good choices but they are hundreds of miles apart from each other.
And NYC would fit in there somewhere. and then there is New England?
Another huge issues would be coastal land and more specifically ports. What are now huge cities started around waterways and ports.
Anyhow, the map as it is now, is quite scattered and slicy dicy.

I listened to a guest host on Rush explain it, and the media took it out of context, which is nothing new at all.
But let’s assume Rush actually thinks we are trending towards secession. So what? This is something the left has been pushing the country into. It’s an attempt to make Rush look bad or to shame someone.

Earlier this year, Limbaugh was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom during President Trump’s State of the Union Speech, a move that left the radio legend quite emotional.
“Rush Limbaugh, thank you for your decades of tireless devotion to our country,” Trump said.
The medal, the President explained, was “in recognition of all that you have done for our nation, the millions of people a day that you speak to and that you inspire, and all of the incredible work that you have done for charity.”
Thank you so much for your overwhelming encouragement, support, and prayers out there. They absolutely work! Fear not, I plan to hang around a long time to continue to annoy the left.

In late October, Limbaugh shared sobering details of his ongoing battle with lung cancer, telling listeners he can no longer deny he’s “under a death sentence.”
Limbaugh updated fans on his condition which he described as terminal.
Still, he vowed to “hang around a long time to continue to annoy the left.”
We’re hoping that is for many, many years to come.

IF we were going to, first, attempt a peaceful solution...
The other big challenge beside how to divide the map is...
The people would be given a choice to declare themselves citizens of whichever region has agreed upon.
How much time do you give people to decide? ..do you give them one year or five years to decide?
People own homes and businesses in regions that they may not want to live...but moving would be very difficult. They have family that would decide to live in separate regions.
The question of secession is an open one. What is not in question is the impossibility of “peaceful coexistence “.

I really wish it were different. And I’m believe that there are more than 3% that are willing to set things right. But I don’t see that happening.
We’ve been letting the President get his ass kicked for 4 years and he still won. We have Republican majorities in all four of three contested states. One of them, Georgia, is Republican across the board. And none of them will do anything.
I guess they’re afraid of more riots or took some of that Chinese money.
