Did Rush Limbaugh Really Warn That America is ‘Trending Toward Secession’? Here’s the Truth
MenRec ^ | 12/14/20 | Rusty

Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh believes the political landscape in America makes it possible that the nation is “trending toward secession.”

Limbaugh, a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, made the observation during a broadcast of his show on Wednesday.

A question was posed by his producer wondering if Republicans would ever be able to win elections again if they’re not able to make headway in strongly blue cities and states.

...

Those quotes involve “bloggers” who Limbaugh has observed writing extensively that “there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs.”

Leftists are telling you those are Limbaugh’s own words when he was simply making an observation about what others have said.

Shortly thereafter, Limbaugh had this to say:

I know that there’s a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to or not. Whether we want to go there or not. I myself haven’t made up my mind. I still haven’t given up the idea that we are the majority and that all we have to do is find a way to unite and win.

Not a man advocating for secession rather than a man who is simply stating he believes this is where things are heading based on what others have said about red states being unable to have a say in elections.

Rush didn't exactly say what the media is pretending he said.

“bloggers” writing extensively that “there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs.”

Those "bloggers" aren't wrong. I don't want to live around these people, let alone under them and their Commie ideals.

In that case: What is so wrong with succession?

Huh? We won this one. They cheated. That's all.

Trump’s support increased in the minority communities, and he should have done better than 3% to 97% in the cities, except for the vote harvesting.

I agree 100% with most on this thread, if he said it specifically. If you dont like what he said, tune out.

****

Posted it 1000 times for the past 20 years...we CANNOT co-exist with liberals.

We dont think like them, we dont act like them and I hate them.

I think the comment was based on the outcome, due to cheating, rather than the actual numbers.

I strongly believe Trump won, but they cheated.

The worst part is no one is doing a damn thing about it. The GOPe WANTS Trump gone. The Deep State want Trump gone. The DNCMedia want Trump gone. So, they’re all going to ignore the cheating to satisfy their immediate needs.

Snerdly’s question was based on allowing the cheating/fraud to stand, means we’ll never win an important election again because the democrats will just cheat, especially when the stakes are high enough for them, and no one seems to be in trouble for the cheating that already happened right before the very world’s eyes.

I believe Rush was quoting someone.

However, we have Irreconcilable Difference.

We either write up the divorce papers or we’ll start killing each other.

The union is O-V-E-R !

Cheating usually ends a marriage.

There has been massive cheating.

Why wouldn’t we move rapidly toward secession? Why should a handful
of cities, filled with liberals and illegals, dictate what the rest of the country does and how they live?

Biggest issue for those cities is, except fir a few, most of their states are as RED as any place on the map.

A secession movement happens and most of NY, Penn, Mich, Illinois, Wisconsin, NC, Virginia, Colorado, Arizona are gone. Along with significant portions of Maryland and NJ.

We could probably write off most of New England but NH would definitely be in the aforementioned list.

“most of NY, Penn, Mich, Illinois, Wisconsin, NC, Virginia, Colorado, Arizona are gone”

Wrong. Most of those States are all American. Their cities are communist.

Small town in northern Michigan.

6 registered voters

3 of them voted.

600 votes tabulated from the precinct.

At least that’s the word on the street. Nothing to see here. Move along.

If true and I’ve heard about it, I’m hoping that someone in the Trump administration has and is trying to do something about it. 600 there, 100 here, etc etc, pretty soon those 10,000 vote gaps are gone with some simple math.

That’s what I meant. Hence the reason so many of them have Republican controlled state legislatures, but unfortunately none of them
have the balls to do anything about what happened in November.

Scared of ANTIFA and BLM, I’m thinking

He didn’t, but he’s right about there being an underlying feeling that secession is inevitable giving the split that the media and Dems foment.

“ The union is O-V-E-R !”
**************

I’m reminded of a comment made about fifty years ago by a prof in an anthropology class, needing an elective, I wandered into. Anyway, during a discussion the pro commented “all borders are temporary.” At the time, I didn’t think much of it, but I never forgot her comment. And, history has proven her correct. Anyway, back to the current; I foresee not a civil war of the traditional kind, but a evolution toward the Canadian model of semi-autonomous zones such as exists with Quebec. I don’t forsee a shooting conflict although there indeed may be such isolated incidents here and there. I foresee civil disobedience on the conservative Right similar to what’s transpired on the Left with their sanctuary cities and California. This in turn will cause a further parsing of our population based upon political, social, and religious values. I think this demographic shift is inevitable.
