You reminded me of episode 1, Season 1, of “Designated Survivor” when the Capitol Building was destroyed during the State of the Union presidential address. I was pretty sure there had to be some basis for your enduring faith, and for reducing any fears you might have felt concerning the future, under some more rotten leaders (if it comes to that).
I believe many people here would feel a lot better, if they could also approach the future with that kind of faith, that says, no matter what, God is still in control, and watching, and doing.

As for where things stand, the states will certify Biteme the winner today. The courts, as I have said for a month, will NOT intervene in an election. I have always, consistently said it would have to be the state legislatures and for two weeks now we’ve known they won’t do anything.
No, there won’t be an EO secret coup where Trump imposes martial law. That won’t happen. He respects the system, even if it elected Biteme through cheating, too much. Just as John Adams did in 1800, even though he thought the Jeffersonians would utterly destroy the country, he still respected the Constitution and thought it would prevail.
