“For several years after that, these brave guinea pigs were invicible. They never got sick.”
Bill Gates can have my dose.
“About a month ago, Dr. Charlie Ward, who I trust ever since he was right about Donald Trump’s landslide victory, stated that every test subject of the British C-19 vaccine had died”
Actually, he didn’t say that.
Any time your body fights off a pathogen, antibody production ceases shortly after the infection has been killed and about 90% of the B-cells that were producing the antibodies die since they are no longer needed. The other 10% remain dormant as Memory B-cells, which are ready to be reactivated to produce the specific antibody required should that pathogen ever be encountered again.
So to answer your question about what happens after ~6 months? Your body continues doing what it does with every pathogen it’s ever encountered: remains ready to kill it. Should somebody cough a bunch of SARS-CoV-2 at you a year later, your body would respond by awakening those Memory B-cells and the SARS-CoV-2 viruses would immediately be obliterated by your natural immune response. It’s highly unlikely you’d ever experience any symptoms unless you were immunocompromised.
Could I already have memory B cells without taking the vaccine?
Do you have a link to a video or a story wherein Dr. Charlie Ward stated that every test subject of the British C-19 vaccine had died?
Wow.. Thanks for the info. I was not going to get the vaccine anyways but I have psoriasis and wonder if I would have had side effects. And my wife is diagnosed a few months ago with bad RA. Would not be a good idea for her to get the vaccine either I guess.
“Monday’s statement said “positive high-level results from an interim analysis of clinical trials of AZD1222 in the UK and Brazil showed the vaccine was highly effective in preventing Covid-19… and no hospitalisations or severe cases of the disease were reported in participants.”
“Do you have a link to a video or a story wherein Dr. Charlie Ward stated that every test subject of the British C-19 vaccine had died?”
No. Since he never said it.
While it is good to hear so many of you are willing to take the vaccination
I’ll be waiting a year or more to see how you are doing. I hope all this is hype and the vaccine is good.
Problem is no one can receive honest news from any public broadcast. Even for persons to report on Facebook it isn’t allowed.
Black isn’t white and bad isn’t good. Biden didn’t win this election but may get the position. Believe what you want and try to be happy with your decision. Oh, thanks again for being first on the front line for this vaccine.
It’s possible you could have Memory B-cells in place today for SARS-CoV-2, if your body fought off an infection already. You could have a serology test done to see if you’re currently producing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. If so, you have no need of a vaccine.
The basics of how this works is that when a pathogen invades your body, general defenses already in the area respond first. This is primarily going to be macrophages and neutrophils. If the macrophages can’t beat it, they’ll signal for dendritic cells, which are kind of the brains of the immune system. The dendritic cells will take samples of the pathogen to lymph nodes, where a complicated process activates the right kind of T-cell that fits with the samples taken. Those T-cells then activate virgin B-cells, which produce the specific antibody necessary to kill that pathogen. After infection is over, 90% of those B-cells die (they reproduced in mass numbers to begin antibody production and most of them work themselves to death producing antibodies). The 10% that remain become Memory B-cells, ready to resume production of antibodies if that pathogen is ever encountered again.
britain just mandated inoculations or is offering them or something- i believe- we’ll see how many fall over from it or get sick
some people do have bad reactions- have a friend who got very sick a couple times, then figured out it was the vaccines- so won’t take them anymore- but most do fine with them- but sadly the only way to find out is through first hand experience i guess-
I was allergic to eggs way back when and supposedly should avoid vaccines, but I’ve never had an adverse reaction to them- I have still gotten the flu, but much milder- I’m in high risk category- lung issues with flues really knock me for a loop- had a few close calls- so i kinda gotta take them- but yeah- some folks simply can’t take them and have bad bad reactions-

Yeah, i can talk about the Gulf War and the secret experimental vaccine we were given there. We were not brave, but ordered to talk it. The medic said he did not know what it was. And if he did, he wouldn’t tell anyway.
I did not come back healthy and I always blamed it on that shot, and maybe those pills that tasted like cooper. Never related this to the Gulf War Syndrom tho.
I will let you know how it goes if you want because I will be taking the vaccine as soon as it’s available to me. Many at the hospital where I work will not and that is their choice. I have had pneumonia and asthma, have a dear friend fighting for breath with a ventilator. I take no medications other than a low dose losartin for blood pressure, I have no major illnesses that could affect the vaccine (that I’m aware of), heck ya I’m taking it.
I don’t want to keep picking your brain, but after this virus has been around as long as it has...what percentage of the population would you estimate is producing antibodies?
The good news is with all the FReepers declining, there will be plenty to go around.
Yup. My position is since the front-line health workers will receive the vaccine first, I will wait a while to observe. In the meantime, de-sanitizing items you bring home and then hands has worked for us.
Indeed.
