Several states have filed Amicus Briefs in support of the PA republican party on the grounds that SCOTUS should grant certiorari to uphold the Constitution’s command that it is the legislative branch of each state, not the judicial branch, that determines federal election rules.
The states are OK, IN, KS, NE, TN, WV, MO, IL, AR, FL, KY, LA, MS, SC, SD and TX.
Read the briefs at link. Compelling.
Perhaps because the Electoral College is in place to give all States say in who the President is - any State breaking it’s own election laws is, in-fact, rigging the Electoral College and disenfranchising its own citizens along with all the other States - to do such rigging, negates the efficacy/intent of the Electoral Collège.
I had to travel to Philadelphia a few months ago. In its central shopping district, all its high-end stores were boarded up. It looked like Beirut. It didn't seem to faze the city's pedestrians who walked by like it was ordinary, whereas we stood there staring at all the boarded-up expensive shops like, Woah! Passers-by looked at us like we were the crazy ones: "You never saw boarded-up shopping districts before? Hicks!"
To your point about Democrat cities running roughshod over the rest of the state: I recently read a web article saying Pennsylvania is basically Trump Country, so how is its Supreme Court dominated by leftist socialists? That article said the Democrat politicos in Philadelphia & Pittsburgh quietly ensured their state Supreme Court elections occur in non-Presidential-Election years (the "off years"). I guess that's 2018, 2014, 2010, etc. The theory being most Republicans are so busy with their lives that they won't pay attention to "off-year" elections. Whereas Democrats are totally obsessed with politics 24/7/365, so they quietly "got out the vote" in those off-year elections. Result: Pennsylvania is basically Trump-Country but it's stuck with a Democrat-dominated state Supreme Court (5 leftists, only 2 Republicans). Shifty Democrats are quickly turning the U.S. into a socialist and sooner-than-we-think Marxist/Communist country. It's happening fast.
Your expansion of my statement is, in all likelihood absolutely true, but I would add that Philadelphia has a very well-earned reputation for being one of the most corrupt cities in the country and its reputation for election fraud is legendary.
I didn't read any of the lawsuit. I'm just going by what you said Newsmax said: That this Pennsylvania SCOTUS submission does not ask the Justices to overturn anything. I laid out my (non-lawyer) take in Post #14 above, if you want to check it out. I think I'm generally on the right track but if any attorneys out there want to correct my non-lawyer interpretation, go for it.
Yeah you have to do better than “seriously” we all aren’t as enlightened as you.

That’s the Plan. Direct voting in rigged elections is the only way to go
“That’s the Plan. Direct voting in rigged elections is the only way to go”
If only they didn’t have them pesky laws they want the courts to nullify for them.
“Judges, by nature, are reluctant to be the deciding factor in anything that sets precedent or might be contentious”
Except for all Obama appointed judges and RINO Bush judges that all hate everything that President Trump wants to do...
You have correctly laid out the matter of the unconstitutional last minute rules changes which had to be voted on by legislatures, but were not. This appears to have little significance to you for some reason, as you insist on depressing your prediction of Trump's success.
Then you stomp further on your "WAG" prediction without taking into account the action taken by TX.
"Safe harbor" and "Electoral College" can vote and select all they want, but if the election of 1876 is any indication and the USSC Throckmorton decision (1878) set precedence for USSC, if an election is being actively challenged for fraud, the USSC can take all the time it needs to get to the bottom of it, and allow electors to be awarded on the basis of their findings
Your predictions are either pathologically uninformed, or you are simply nothing more than a professional black pill suppression pollster like all the other "pros."
Get lost.
LOL. I said I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not "pathologically uninformed." Your accusation is laughable. "Professional black pill suppression pollster?" How do you even come up with that nonsense? Too funny. "Get lost." Wow. Anyway, as a non-lawyer, I simply mentioned my WAG for Trump's chances, so it's not a "prediction" as you mindlessly claim. Reading comprehension! I'm concerned about the SCOTUS. The three leftists will rule against Trump. I'm extremely skeptical about Roberts. And very concerned that one (or more) "Republican" justices will also side against Trump. Plus a large majority of Americans don't even know, or are barely aware, that Trump is challenging the election and so they just assume Biden will be inaugurated on January 20.
Taking the case in one thing...
Figuring out where they’re likely to go with it is another ?
One potential... would be the simplest... is to point out that an election is what happens when you follow the law on having an election.
And, when you pretend to follow the law, and pretend that what you’re doing is an election, when in fact you’re not following the law... is theater... and not an election.
If what happened is “not an election”... then, none of its products can be legitimately held out to be what they’re held out as being now.
What the court says “the law requires” is the key... but there’s also lots that matters in HOW they say it ?
And, then, what will the court do in addressing “a proper remedy”... ?
Do they even have to do that... if they decide no election was held ? Can’t others figure that out, from there ?
