I am uncomfortable with your posts, in that your posts....while very well-meaning...seem to promote your profile, rather than the Greater Good. While I love your “heart”, I feel as though I am reading a “Freep-o-mercial” rather than an organic post from concerned members of this community . Just my thoughts, for what it is worth. I do not think that FR was intended to be used in this way.

There is no reason to burn up excess funds at the end of the calendar year. The government operates on a fiscal year, which I believe ended September 30th. Beginning Sept 1st or so is when they start looking for toys to buy to drain the surplus.
