I can kill with absolute certainty to 500 hundred yards. Past 500 yards needs a superior scope of which I do not have. My weapon will do a mile. I do not wish to buy a scope that is worth more than my weapon thus 500 yards is a kill shot. I pray I never pull that trigger. If necessary I will.

I got an arsenal SLR 107 FR with a nitrided barrel that does about that with an annihilator optic specially tuned for 7.62x39. I’ll tag the crap outta something about the size of a football at about 450 yards. Some AKs really got it.

The barrel is aftermarket btw. Pressed it in and pinned it myself. Also got a mak90, a wasr10, a polish tantal, a converted vepr, a saiga 12, and a draco pistol that one of these days I wanna throw a rear trunnion onto capable of mounting a folding stock and SBR it.

Funny thing, if you get into serious/competitive shooting, most people only have scopes worth several times the rifle they're on!
