Over the past few years I’ve decided that the reason the US doesn’t seem to be in the Bible is because we decide to isolate again. It aligns with some of the changes that Trump has been implementing but with even a greater pendulum swing.

People can get weak from hunger and dehydration pretty quickly. And they don’t know how to take care of themselves. I doubt 1:100 knows the signs of dehydration or what to do about it.
Stopping the flow of goods into cities will be very effective very quickly.

The other thing is, far enough out in the country, their numbers thin out because of geography. The further you are from the center, the less dense your numbers are. Plus they have to get past a large number of armed civilians, farmers, and other independent survival types. They will lose numbers through attrition so by the time they are a couple hours outside a city (by car) there numbers will not be in their favor.
The rural areas are what concern me. For a realistic assessment of how that would go, study historical accounts of the Indian vs settler conflicts, more specifically those of the Comanche vs Texicans. Country homesteads would fall like dominoes even to a less than sophisticated force. There wouldn't be any struggle about exposure or finding food by hostiles since working farms & ranches would have livestock and grain stores if not personal food caches from the original owners to subsist upon. If multiple such properties were captured by the same grouping of hostiles, that would present a sticky problem in the area - they would occupy and fortify as mutually supporting forward bases - until someone finally comes along to dig them out, if ever. Normalcy Bias would be a great asset to hostiles, at least at first until people got better organized like they did against the Comanche so long ago.

Republicans who know the election was stolen is much higher than 50%, it is more like 95%. Of Democrats, it’s 30% know it was stolen. Of total voters on both sides, you would have 95% x 80 million votes, plus 33% of probably only 50 million votes actually cast by Democrats. That would be 76 million conservative voters + 16.3 million of liberal leftist voters for a total of 92.3 million voters out of 130 million actual votes cast who believe the election was stolen, which gives you 71% of voters know the election was stolen.

The Comanche were better versed in survival in the wild than most basement dwelling millennials.
That’s going to be their downfall.
I don’t doubt that in some areas what you propose is likely to happen.
A lot depends, I think, on where you are, how rural you are, how your state is on guns, how far you are from a big city and how big that city is and what they have to survive to get as far as you.
LOTS of variables in how people are going to fare if/when the cities collapse.

I’m trying to convince my wife that the left wants us dead.
No cigar yet.
IMHO they do and have already proven that they would gladly open the death camps in February if they could.
I’m thinking seriously about a family trip to the killing fields of Cambodia in the future. I’ve got to edumacate the yungins about the perils of authoritarian left.

That factored into their downfall, since they had to trade, hunt, fish, trap, scavenge AND move & fight. When troops were finally activated to garrison in Texas to deal with the Comanche (quite a story in itself behind how that was made to happen) they had an official line of logistics to supply their campaign. All they had to do was locate and fight the enemy, day or night. The Comanche enjoyed no such advantage. It became a war of attrition for the Comanche - the saying "you can run but you'll only die tired" applied for real.
LOTS of variables in how people are going to fare if/when the cities collapse.
Yes! Absolutely - when it comes to what all you listed it's like the mantra about real estate - location, location, location.

It would be interesting to see if BLM and antifa had the supply lines for food and stuff.
Since food is produced in the rural areas they would be attacking, they would be shooting themselves in the foot, so to speak.
I guess it would depend some on who acted first.
Do the rural areas stop the supply chain first, or to the mobs invade first?
Even then, they have no clue how to grow or process food. Witness the CHOP attempt at gardening in Seattle’s “autonomous “ zone. Which failed miserably and wasn’t really so autonomous.

The angle I was following is groups fleeing barren cities, finding and sitting on sources of food until it ran out or they were ran off. Whether any of them would have the level of sophistication to convert raw resources into usable food is open to debate. I think the threat would lean more heavily towards criminally organized individuals instead of political ideologues, much like what was going on in my area towards the end of Obamanation's 2nd term.

I had Thanksgiving with 14 people. Eight of us have been die hard Trump supporters from day one. Two have always been completely apolitical, to the point of leaving a gathering if politics was brought up and two were Hillary voters in 2016 and I don't know about the last two.
Everyone in the room was extremely pissed off about this election and everyone supports DJT 100% and all are furious that, so far, nothing seems to have been done.

"FR will be one of the platforms in which it will be announced."
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, ANNOUNCE ANY PLANS BEING PUT IN PLACE ON FREE REPUBLIC OR ANY OTHER UNSECURED MEDIUM. SECURE COMMUNICATIONS ARE THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Yes, nothing is secure, but their are many offshore encrypted services that can help initially. I use Protonmail.com (free) for personal messages. As with any encrypted message, the recipient must have an account to decrypt.
I'm sure there are other more secure encrypted services. Also, think of original coding like the Navajo Talkers in WWII. The NSA can't read everything.
AGAIN, PLEASE DON'T BROADCAST ON A PUBLIC BOARD OF ANY PLANS, PROJECTS, GROUPS, ORGANIZATIONS, ETC.!

Calm down. The plan is to broadcast on all conservative platforms.

The irony is that they are causing the demise. When Commercial real estate collapses because of their Covid power grab cities will die. Add the loss of 33% of small businesses, mostly restaurants.

It dawned on my today about an emergency broadcast.
It will be necessary because the govt will need to shut down in order to stop the media from trying to overthrow the govt by inciting an insurrection. You can hear how the media right now is getting people to prepare for such an event...calling anything that Trump says... “dangerous”.
To: Vendome; CheshireTheCat
You have no idea how pissed we are even here in CaliforniaIt's pretty much been Communist Central over here in the East SF Bay for the past 30 years, but oddly enough, though the commies were saying "but what if Trump doesn't accept the results of the election? What if he refuses to leave office?" back in October, they are very strangely silent now. No cheering, no gloating, no winks and nudges, no secret smiles at each other. Everyone to a man is subdued. Not vocal. Silent. Weird.

At my company, it was stated in print by a very high up person: “the country is divided...”.
This is indeed a very serious situation.
That is frightening.
I feel like we're all at a big barbecue at Twelve Oaks Plantation on a warm summer afternoon, and something is coming towards us, fast, just over the hills and out of sight.
