Impulse gun buyers have a problem. No ammo. I was tempted recently to warn a man buying an AR to check ammo availability first. He obviously knew nothing about the weapon so he was impulse buying. Friends at hunt club call when they find ammo, went to one store 50 miles away to get ammo. I decided not to warn the guy, owner has to sell to stay in business and since he obviously knew nothing about an AR platform, if he found ammo he may be dangerous.šŸ˜€

Besides, I bet a bunch of those guns will hit the secondary market in a couple of years and weā€™ll be able to add to our collection cheap.

Our gun shop makes sure that everyone who purchases a firearm has ammo. It pisses some off that we won’t sell the ammo we have without a firearm purchase, but that is tough.
