The U.S. Army announced Saturday the deaths of five soldiers who were part of peacekeeping operations with the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) mission.
The soldiers died as a result of a UH-60 helicopter crash on Thursday in Sinai, Egypt. The incident is under investigation.
The deceased are:
--Capt. Seth Vernon Vandekamp, 31, from Katy, Texas.
--Chief Warrant Officer 3 Dallas Gearld Garza, 34, from Fayetteville, N.C.
--Chief Warrant Officer 2 Marwan Sameh Ghabour, 27, from Marlborough, Mass.
--Staff Sgt. Kyle Robert McKee, 35, from Painesville, Ohio
--Sgt. Jeremy Cain Sherman, 23, from Watseka, Ill.
One American remains hospitalized in very serious condition.

Two of the deceasedwere the UH-60 pilots. One was the UH-60 crew chief. One was a UH-60 mechanic, and the Captain was a Army medical doctor. Unlikely that they would have anything to do with a secret raid in Germany, let alone get killed.
