I think that’s right, except Mac should definitely know better. Either something is wrong with his mind or he is in on the deception. While I strongly suspect the latter, it could be either, honestly. The ranks of retired and former military officers include more than their share of kooks, I’ve learned over the years. This includes classmates of mine who were perfectly normal when I knew them 20 years ago.

Know better than what? Look for what he actually said - assuming that the interview is actually him at all.

There are several things spliced together here.

In the “Interview” he does not appear to have said anything about the 5 deaths, beyond having heard that there were some deaths but can’t substantiate it.
