I am pretty sure that legal fines cannot be cleared in a successful bankruptcy.

I think you’re right, this is very bad advice and will get anyone who does it into a big financial hole.

Which is why Twitter is leaving it up.

Yep, fines and taxes are immune.

These totalitarian bureaucrats are going to be as thrilled as a bullet to the head when they discover what happens when you finally push decent, honest, hard-working people past their breaking point in a quest for total power.

That’s exactly what happened to AZ State Patrol officers when AZ state legislature unilaterally passed and implemented freeway speed cameras along the 10 fwy without voter consent. The cameras were all removed a year later.

And that highlights yet another reason why public sector workers must be as free as private sector workers to pack up and take their skills to work to for new employer (or for themselves) whenever they see fit - no union-negotiated bureaucratic shackles, no defined-benefit retirement packages, no seniority/tenure BS tied to the employing jurisdiction/school district/state/etc.

Whether it’s teachers being forced to teach the wonders of transsexuality, or pencil pushers forced to endorse the lunacy that two dudes can marry, or police officers forced to enforce totalitarian laws that will get them killed (or really, anybody simply getting paid less than they believe their are worth to another employer), the malign interests of government bureaucracy and “organized labor” have every interest in making sure these workers have to stick around to enforce their dictates, like it or not.
