I posted the below on the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread:

Let me share with you how bad it is in New Mexico. We needed a permit for a project scheduled to start next Monday (11/30). I submitted the permit applicatioon on November 9 with two-week turnaround the norm for a non-controversial permit. The state agency issued an email stating that they were shutting down for two weeks until the beginning of December and would not review or issue any permits until then. My 100K project just got stopped for at least to mid-December. Below is what I wrote to my out of state clients when I had to notify them:

... this governor's draconian stay at home lockdown requirements have led to massive disruptions in business in New Mexico including closing for two weeks numerous essential businesses such as three Walmart's in Albuquerque and Albertson's markets in Hobbs, Roswell, Carlsbad and Las Cruces. Hundreds of other businesses are on the state's "watch list" and detecting 4 or more covid-19 cases will shutter them too. Long lines are forming for shoppers as those grocery stores [and Walmarts] remaining open are limited to 75 persons or 25% of occupancy, whichever is less. All restaurants in the state are closed for in-person dining and hotels are limited to 25% occupancy.Travel is limited to in-state with travel outside the state requiring a 14-day quarantine upon return, negative virus test or not.
