Yada, yada, yada. Yak,yak, yak. There have always been cowards since the dawn of time and they’ve sniveled and whined constantly. Get over yourself.

Because of having communism shoved down his throat since he was a kid in Queens, nobody I've read can more thoroughly gut the left's body of emotional, jealousy driven tripe. His many statements and writings, in 1970 after finally seeing through the true character of collectivism, all point to facts such as these: Collectivism is a religion and can not exist without totalitarian methods.

He knows what human vermin radicalized by socialist insanity are capable of...e.g. Black Panthers, Weathermen, Antifa...

My favorite Horowitz books are Radical Son and The Politics Of Bad Faith. The latter is the most intense 188 or so pages tearing into commies that I have ever read.

Vietnam was America’s last attempt at military conscription. The backlash over conscription to fight in that war is the very thing which ended conscription. Proud of yourself?

If I had been forced to fight in Vietnam it would not have been on our side. Lots of deserters did exactly that.

So far, it’s only a worn out metaphor.

No. But he’ll still have SS protection, and he can well afford his own security arrangements.

I work in academe. My university is tightening up on all of this—setting up offices and teams to root out all forms of dissent and anything that goes against their various speech and conduct codes. Here’s the latest just announced today of a new office of enforcement. This is a paragraph from their manifesto:

“The mission of the Inclusive Community Assessment Team is to provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to be heard and supported. The fundamental role of the Inclusive Community Assessment Team is to respond to reports of bias incidents and hate speech. The team will provide services to witnesses, bystanders, targeted individuals, offenders, or members of the community in order to create change in a timely, effective, and comprehensive way. The Assessment Team will play an educational role in helping to cultivate the community values of inclusion, civility, and mutual respect.”

So, we’re expected to report on each other. Any evidence of deviation from the orthodoxy and you’ll be hauled before an examining board with witnesses called against you. Notice the language below of what constitutes “bias.”
“Bias is defined by the University as an act, verbal, written, physical, psychological, that threatens, or harms a person or group on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, civil union status, domestic partnership status, military service or veteran status.”

No mention here of bias against creed. So, those who may have a different political belief from the university-approved one aren’t safe from persecution. We have no protected status. It’s open season on us if somebody rats us out if we happen to express conservative political opinions. It will automatically be labeled hate speech and subject us to investigation by a team. This absolutely shuts down freedom of speech. People will be afraid they’ll lose their jobs if they express honest opinions that are not acceptable.

Folks, this is getting worse. It’s now everywhere. Disagree with what’s p.c. and you have a target on your back. Horowitz is right. This is totalitarianism.

"Strange isn’t it how the “New Deal” socialist Johnson administration somehow chose to oppose socialism in Vietnam? They even assassinated two presidents to do it, Kennedy and Diem. Vietnam wasn’t about socialism until Johnson’s mob made it be about socialism."

Wrong. Kennedy got us into Vietnam during his presidential term. He pushed for involvement in Vietnam long before that, when he was a senator in 1956.

“ Americans summon the courage to call Democrats the racists, liars, character assassins and aspiring totalitarians that they actually are”

Horowitz obviously doesn’t understand Democrats or totalitarian communists (which they are, Chinese style) as well as he thinks he does. They will just laugh at you before they shoot you or club you over the head.

The only out of this is to get them first.

Communism/leftism etc in the US has been around in some form since probably the turn of the 20th c.

Yep...Jack London, for one, was hyping that garbage in the early 1900's.

Most deserters wouldn’t have survived living with the Cong or NVA, not that the cowards would have wanted to join them anyway.
