Rep. Ilhan Omar downplayed recent party infighting and claimed the Democrats are one “big family” working on behalf of the people.

Omar’s suggestion that the party is unified and focused on serving the people has taken a hit of late.

Audio of a wild conference call leaked shortly after the election. It featured several members of the Democrat caucus “angrily confronting” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over their election losses and blasting the ‘Squad.’

“Squad” members fired back with allegations that moderates were being racist.

What happens when 73 million Trump voters get disgusted with Republican weakness and join the Democratic Party en masse as its new "Liberty Faction" - can we all still be friends, then? :)

Democrats got to be one of the most treacherous “families” ever to inhabit the earth. Even the Sicilian Mafioso had more cohesion and devotion to cause, and only resorted to killing within their own ranks to control the numbers of dissident and recalcitrant members, that was “just business”.

Democrats go for smash-mouth, gut-punching, victory-at-all-costs assault on their rivals, not for the business aspect, but for the sheer blood lust of breaking things and making wide swathes of destruction.

The Dems may fight amongst themselves, but when it comes to relegating their opposition (i.e. us) to second-class citizens, they are totally united and unrelenting in that quest.

“What happens when 73 million Trump voters get disgusted with Republican weakness and join the Democratic Party en masse as its new “Liberty Faction” - can we all still be friends, then?”

That may be what the Dems wind up doing - create a Third Party they control, to split the Republican Party in half, as they have to know that if they have trouble stealing future elections, they’re toast, as they are not liked by Americans.

Rep. Ilhan Omar downplayed recent party infighting and claimed the Democrats are one “big family” working on behalf of the people.

Omar (D-MN), a member of the ‘Squad,’ recently called out fellow Democrat Joe Manchin (WV) for suggesting extremist platforms were to blame for the party’s 2020 election losses.

“Stop worrying about progressives, this might be the reason we don’t win the Senate races in Georgia. Good grief,” she tweeted to Manchin.

In an interview on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” this past weekend, however, Omar was preaching party unity.

Have President Trump’s four years in office been a success?

Yes - A resounding success.

No - It’s been a complete failure.

A little bit of both.

“When you think about our party, Speaker Pelosi always says we are a big tent, and that means that we are a big family,” she claimed.

“We all have our own constituencies that we have to serve,” she continued. “We are part of a caucus working on behalf of the people. We think of ourselves as the party of the people.”

Ilhan Omar’s ‘One Big Family’ Claim Has Taken a Hit of Late

Omar’s suggestion that the party is unified and focused on serving the people has taken a hit of late.

Audio of a wild conference call leaked shortly after the election. It featured several members of the Democrat caucus “angrily confronting” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over their election losses and blasting the ‘Squad.’

“Squad” members fired back with allegations that moderates were being racist.

Later in the call, self-described Democratic Socialist Rashida Tlaib accused her colleagues of only wanting to speak to issues that motivate white suburbanites.

“To be real, it sounds like you are saying stop pushing for what Black folks want,” she said. https://t.co/NGlLlPQb6P

The fighting didn’t end with the conference call. Subsequent interviews showed Omar’s ‘Squad-mates’ continuing to attack party moderates.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) hit back hard against Democrats, saying she won’t “be silent,” while Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) saying it’s time to “take our gloves off” against the opposition party.

Still, Omar put up a unified front.

“I know that Biden invited the American people to be a unifying force against darkness, and as a caucus, we have to be unified against that,” she said.

“The American people have decided to put us in charge to say we want something different. We can’t disappoint them.”

This piece is a TREASURE trove.

✅ Bernie has his own 100 day agenda coming (please release soon!)
✅ Tlaib suggests criticism of progressives is racist (its.. from other Dems)

AOC Claimed Joe Biden Didn’t Even Belong in the Same Party

There are two significant problems with Omar’s statements above.

One, the American people certainly didn’t give the Democrat party a mandate to implement change. Presidential race aside, they voted overwhelmingly against the party.

In fact, Republicans have likely held on to power in the Senate while surprisingly flipping numerous seats in the House of Representatives, all while scoring historic victories in state legislative chambers.

And two, Biden may have invited unity, but the same respect hasn’t been shown for his so-called moderate policies. Just ask Ocasio-Cortez (AOC).

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez complained in an interview published Monday that Democrats nationwide can cultivate “too big of a tent,”.

“In any other country, Joe Biden and I would not be in the same party, but in America, we are.” https://t.co/a2giKcQwmH

— POLITICO New York (@politicony) January 6, 2020

It was AOC, mere months ago, who said she and Biden didn’t even belong in the same party. Not the same party, the same big family, or under the same big tent.

“In any other country, Joe Biden and I would not be in the same party, but in America, we are,” Ocasio-Cortez said in an interview with New York Magazine.

“Democrats can be too big of a tent,” AOC also said in regards to more moderate members.

“They let anybody who the cat dragged in call themselves a progressive,” claimed the New York socialist. “There’s no standard.”
