Last night’s show finished it for me, going to miss Tucker.
You know what I really feel good about? As a Californian, we have no voice here, I and all my family can vote for Trump and our voice is just a huge yawn from the lefties. But I do have a voice when it comes to shutting down and canceling Fix News, my voice is heard as I turn off the spigot: no more $10 a month going to Dish to have Fix, and blessedly, no more watching/listening while that channel is on all day. It’s called peace in doing the right thing.
“Fox News was originally set up to be the mouthpiece for the GOPe/neo-con wing of the Uniparty. Theyre returning to their roots.”
Yep. Military-industrial complex $$$$$$$$$$$$ are a terrible thing to lose...
He was my trigger back in 2016. His commentary during that election night, along with that a-hole Charlie Gasparino, was just awful. Both of them bashing Trump non-stop. I never watched Shepard Smith, I tried, but, I couldn't do it.
I, too, have been watching Fox News from the beginning. I remember when Brit Hume started Special Report during the Lewinsky scandal. I have transferred over to Fox Business for the last several years and have not really watched Fox News very much. Maria Bartiromo on Sunday morning. Tucker, Laura (although very disappointed in her telling me to just stop caring about the fraud, not sure I'll be back). So, I've already left Fox pretty much.
I have been watching NewsMax since last week, and I am getting to like it. Hubby likes it 'cause it doesn't have all the glitzy stuff running at the bottom of the screen all the time. It has struck me, though, that I am seeing a lot of commentators at NewsMax that used to always be commentating on Fox. I wondered where all of those people had gone. Newsmax.
I used to be all in on Fox. Now I will watch Tucker Carlson only. For me, it’s Fox Business or OAN. Nothing else.
I’ve had OAN on for several days and it’s really grown on me.
OAN doesn’t insult our intelligence. All the other networks act as if we are so damn stupid we have to be reminded to breathe.
Maybe we could get back to life as it once was, without 24/7 cable news droning on all day long. Maybe we can spend more time living life? I don’t know.
I know I’m kind of interested in trying.
It's normal for the side that believes it is "winning" to watch more of the post-election coverage,
No, it's more than that. Fox really kicked its conservative viewers in the teeth. It was a horrorshow.
I'm not one of those "boycott everyone who says something I don't like" hysterics that we see around here - but I watched Fox pretty regularly, and after Tuesday night, I'll probably never watch Fox again.
Ye so is it We report and we decide?
It is deer season down here. I plan on spending a lot of time out in the woods. Unplug completely.
She had Victor Davis Hanson on, which is not unusual for her. She was interviewing him and at one point he started a sentence which I think began with "With the things going on now ...". She cut him off immediately, mid-sentence. Then she basically hurried him off camera and ended the segment. The look on Hanson's face was interesting, as it was befuddled and wondering what had just happened to him. She was very rude.
