Some interesting facts:
—Highest turnout in American history, undoubtedly caused by big time vote fraud
—Three states had two different delegations claim their state’s electoral votes, and Congress had to decide which delegation to accept
—The mess extended in January, when Congress made a bizarre deal awarding the election to Hayes while making major policy concessions to his opponent’s party (known in history as the Compromise of 1877).
