‘A decade of power’: Statehouse wins position GOP to dominate redistricting (more liberal tears)

Here’s something else Republicans can be happy about after Tuesday.

An abysmal showing by Democrats in state legislative races on Tuesday not only denied them victories in Sun Belt and Rust Belt states that would have positioned them to advance their policy agenda — it also put the party at a disadvantage ahead of the redistricting that will determine the balance of power for the next decade.

Doesn’t matter - in Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court overruled the Legislature’s redistricting and drew their own lines- to demorat advantage, of course.

And it instantly gave the Rats 5 new seats that were stolen from the GOP. Pelosi is an illegitimate Speaker.

This is the same hack court that gave the Rats 3 more days to manufacture votes AFTER the election, regardless to matching signature and postage stamp.

Exactly right! Just like here in Pa. all a state needs is a liberal majority on their Supreme Court and they end up drawing the redistricting maaps.

The track record of courts allowing Commie-Rats to adjust districts and denying GOP to do so is long standing. GOP plans are frequently rejected and the court imposes the Commie-Rat plan.

And Obama’s DOJ demanded approval rights in a number of states. And a judge in Texas, iirc, ordered them to redraw the maps to give an extra seat to the Rats.

If the RATs had carried the night completely they very well could have consolidated permanent one party rule. They would have eliminated the Filibuster and packed the courts to make sure actual law could not stop them.

I'm tired of being one election away from the end of America. We need to take advantage of Republican State House advantage and have our Article V Convention. Article V is in the Constitution precisely to save us from centralized power. Use it or lose it.

How will that stand in the new (with ACB ) US Supreme Court?
Plus Pennsylvania is not the US. It’s just one state. We gained seats all over the country.

I pointed this out to another Freeper on another thread yesterday, stating that this is not a “trivial” win for the GOP (and neither was keeping the Senate, raising our numbers in the House and many wins in many states). That Freeper rightly cares about the presidency, and all that Trump has done and can still do. That is true. But if Trump does not prevail with the courts and the solutions from the courts, I still prefer to see the glass as half full, not half empty.

If Biden prevails, we will have two years to make life in Washington D.C. hell for Harris, and fight even harder in House races just two years from now.

We did not see ANY “blue wave” anywhere, that should have shown up all over the races. It did not happen, and it won’t be there two years from now either. The only thing that showed up was fraud in some battleground states.
