After starting out over 115K behind in total ballots cast in Florida. Republicans have already made up that entire amount plus now approximately lead by 22K in just a few hours voting this morning. Florida counties are reporting in a 2-1 and some a 3-1 vote margin for Republicans over Democrats. At the current rate Republicans will have a 300K+ ballot cast advantage by the end of the day.

Looking very good so far :)

AGREED.

Trump needs to make ELECTION REFORM a TOP Priority.

PUSH for Term Limits too.

Our institutions are structurally corrupt. A few fresh faces via term limits won’t change anything.

...I am of the mind that a whole lotta those D votes are going to our Great President...

Ds quaking in fear of the Wu Flu voted for Biden absentee and by mail. Their days are over.

Rs and Ds with courage are voting in person today and they are voting for Trump and against fear.

It was no more scary than a visit to the local supermarket, only the people were nicer-no Karens enforcing stupid “rules”.

“Rasmussen has Trump down to 49% approval from 52% yesterday. Crap”

Meaningless at this point unless that somehow implies that a significant portion of election day voters — where Republicans are supposedly way ahead everywhere — are going to suddenly reconsider and stay home or vote Biden. Everyone else has already voted, except of course the Vote Fraud Zombies, and they don’t care about polls of any kind; straight ticket Democrat at all times.

But then possibly also less meaningful than all the time and space devoted to it, is counting all this R vs. D stuff under a microscope when unknown crossovers and uncountable independents have the capability to blow this careful figuring clean out of the water, plus nobody has a clue about actual votes yet (just ballots). If the crossovers/indies break in a good way that’s fantastic. If they break significantly the other way it’s crying time, and not just in Florida, regardless of preliminary ballot counts.

OTOH, betting markets have Trump up a bit to 39% chance from 36% yesterday.

we now have election month, not Election Day. We have drive-up voting, mass mail-in voting, instant registration, no ID voting, vastly different standards of handling and counting ballots and now apparently, running totals.... We are creating a corrupt system which will only result in lack of trust as time progresses.

I agree. I've been following the early voting threads in Florida for the past month and trying to make sense of all that data was about to make my head explode.

We are making this process WAY too complicated.

98% of us should be voting on the day at our local precinct. Or even make it an election weekend instead of having it on a Tuesday. Open the polls on Saturday and Sunday and DONE!

One encouraging sign, my wife voted absentee because she volunteered to be a poll worker today. When I showed up to vote this morning, her name was neatly crossed off the rolls. So at least they are taking measures in my state (CT) to ensure that those who vote early do not have the opportunity to vote a second time on Election Day.

If her name was not crossed off, I would have been pissed because then I would wonder how many people were voting twice.
