Even with the same pathology, there are varying degrees of competence, Bandy Lee added. Then she said, "Add to that the fact that Adolf Hitler was a great wise man, a friend to animals and to nature, and a unifier for his people, unlike Trump, and you can see why I think he is such a wonderful role model for political leaders!"

The Beetle was invented by man named Gantz who was Jewish and fled to Austria and I think ended up in Switzerland and was never compensated for his loss of the Beetle design or the pioneering work to be put into the VolksWagan.
I do not think the story is apocryphal that Hitler, fancying himself a student of nature, instructed his engineers to "look the nature, look to the Beetle". I did not mean to suggest that Hitler took ruler and pencil to the drawing board and worked out the schematic, only that he commissioned a people's car, and that he inspired some general guidelines.

And he built the autobahns which enable Germans to drive very fast.

“And lets not forget that he made the trains run on time.”
I thought that was Mussolini.
To: Southside_Chicago_Republican
It was Mussolini the Italian fascist dictator who made the trains run on time. NOT Hitler.

The Beetle shape was chosen because of its aerodynamic shape.

I don't deny that the engineers did the engineering. I am only suggesting that Der Fuhrer had explicitly suggested the animal as inspiration. Maybe the story is apocryphal, but I doubt it.

JHC. WW2 started when I was 5 years old. I remember everything about it vividly including getting thrown out of bed in NY when the Germans blew up a ship in NY harbor.
My dear friend in SF was born and raised in Nazi Germany. She could tell you about Hitler too. Germans had NOTHING. Nothing to eat, nothing at all.
I went to Berlin in the ‘80s, before the wall came down. So much of East Berlin was still a wreck.
AND, watch the movie, Jojo Rabbit. Amazing film about a boy who lived in Germany during the war. He watched his mother being hung in the town square for not saluting Nazis. Best film ever. Buy or rent the DVD. My library has it with a very long waiting list.

Exactly.
The reputation of these universities was all a myth the whole time, as far as I’m concerned.

Lee took to social media to make the case that Hitler had several qualities making him more endearing than President Trump, including the assertion that he improved the daily life of his followers.Hitler also loved his dog, hated tobacco, was a vegetarian, and greatly reduced German unemployment. Are all psychiatrists crazy? Because Lee certainly is.

I have psychiatrics’ problems and can confirm the attraction of the field to people with Mental illness ill... I myself took a lot of collage classes till I had the epiphany that maybe my illness would get in the way of actualy being able to help people...I am pretty sure she is a paranoid personality type that internalizes all misperceived threats that she has imagined and then projects the insecurities it causes her into political action...I think it would be dangerous for anyone to seek treatment from her because it would be very likely that she would exacerbate any psychiatric problem she tried to treat by doing the exact same thing to a person she is doing with political discourse.

Oh, yeah. But Ill bet Hitler did it too!Germans typically don't have any difficulty sticking to schedules. Having lived in Italy I can tell you that getting the trains to run on time was quite an achievement.

I went to Berlin in the 80s, before the wall came down. So much of East Berlin was still a wreck.I visited Berlin in the 80s too. West Berlin was a marvel; East Berlin was... dreck. And a ghost town. And one was required to open an East German bank account to enter, minimum amount of 20 DM (a way for East Germany to get hard Western currency). There was no where to spend the East German currency in East Berlin.
Last time I visited was 2015. Berlin was remarkable ... the old western section more modern - and cleaner - than New York or Chicago or LA. When in the old eastern section, you knew it, urban renewal has not quite demolished the old Communist architecture and it was generally still drab and a little run down. I find it a remarkable city.

Why is it that people who study psychology are often psycho themselves? Not true all of the time, but this “professor” is a prime example of that idiocy.
