I voted at the Long Beach Convention Center yesterday. No lines, well run. The new machines are easy to use and I like that there is an actual paper ballet submitted along with the electronics that are being used. I took a few days off from my work assignment in FL to see my wife and family and vote. FL had lots of Trump signs, Long Beach, not so much.
Yeah,
Joe Biden signs are in third place here in Florida.
Trump signs are in the lead.
Boiled peanut signs come in 2nd.
I am also in LB. we are the lost blue land.
I voted nearby in Rancho Palos Verdes and there were no lines and the electronic voting machines were amazing. Plus these machines leave a papertrail.
One scary thing though is that they won’t destroy the mail in ballot. I shredded it when I got home.
Are you a former McDonnell-Douglas employee?
That’s the only reason I can see why you’re still living in Long Beach, CA.
The wifey and I voted in Orange County yesterday. It was busy but not real busy. I expect long lines on Tuesday so we wanted to beat the crowds.
It was a surprise to discover that I didnt need an ID to vote. I could have voted for my neighbor if I had wanted to. I just needed to know his name and his address.
The only check against fraud is the scribbled computer signature that, at least in my case, was a crude representation of my actual signature.
Cheating would be a piece of cake.
I graduated CSULB so long ago...
I’m sure they did. Push Trump and the Biden block gets an X. Everyone should keep your eye’s peeled.
I voted in person, electronically, last Friday.
Me too! Class of 73.
I live in the deep blue California 53rd Congressional District and voted last week at the County Registrar’s office. Yesterday, I walked past the only polling place in my neighborhood. I resembled a ghost town.
