With 1,624,770 ballots cast, the GOP leads the early vote in Wisconsin. 43% GOP to 35% DEM. About 60% of the estimated total votes for 2020 have been cast. In Wisconsin, you can register and vote the same day, so this is still a close race. The following data is derived from actual ballots cast.

Damn! This race might really turn out to be a blowout.
Wisconsin does not release early vote totals so I dont know where this info came from.
Great!
It says NBC News
This great news. But I don’t quite believe it. I’ll believe at 5am on November 4 ...After voting on November 3! :-D
I know I’m preaching to the choir, but encourage all who can assist the President in electoral victory to vote, please!
Are you sure?
It has a link to NBC, which does show the same:

Yea I am confused on that...fake media?? Do not need to list party affiliation to vote and most that do vote are not affiliated with either party. Ballots are not counted until election day. I worked elections for years.
The most important thing is VOTE VOTE VOTE!! I keep seeing these numbers for various states, is it to keep people home who think Trump is so far ahead.
Only thing this helps with is turnout models. Based on this polls should have been done with R+8 instead of the reverse. That would definitely change the poll results
Some of us who analyze the data have no hidden agenda—we just want to know what is actually happening out there (particularly in this age of grotesque mass media lies and propaganda)—and want to share it with our fellow FReepers.
I believe this will be a Trump blowout—there is a lot of data and analysis to support that view.
I am totally confident that this will not deter _anyone_ from voting.
The footnote in the data says it was compiled by TargetSmart. They apparently can translate raw voting data to party affiliation by addresses or other info,
This election is the first I heard of them.
Doesnt factor crossover voters either. I would think Rs would vote R at a higher % then Ds voting D.
How many Dem votes will be for Trump ?
20% at his rallies are dems
Could it be just counting returned ballots?
I know in MA early voting is nothing more than an absentee ballot completed at a polling place. If you know the registration of the voter, assumptions can be made by party.
I think its safe to say that 90% of early R votes are for Trump. Split the I vote 60:40 for Biden. And 80% Dems to Biden.
Early voters are generally pretty solid. Election Day voters might be swayed...but probably not.
Wisconsin is unusual in that we do not register by party affiliation. We never have to declare what party we vote for, even in primaries. So I don’t know how they are telling how the race is going here. This is part of what makes WI difficult to pole.
These arent vote, but returned ballots. We are making the assumption they are for Republicans because Republicans ordered and returned them.
They could instead be registered Republicans who filled out their ballots for all Democrat candidates.
Goods info. Thanks. Every state does it differently. In MA, its pretty much assumed you are a heathen democrat...I guess they want to be able to find “us” easy when the time comes.
Just a few days ago WAPO/ABC “News” published a poll showing Biden winning WI by 17. Frankly, I’m surprised they published such a bogus poll. On second thought, maybe I should not be surprised, since they have no reputation or integrity to worry about losing.
They could instead be registered Republicans
