He is just jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire, in my opinion. He will learn his mistake. and
I like Simmons, he has many flaws but he doesn’t deny them and he shoots pretty straight.

He’s making a bad decision here though. Most west-coasters who insist on remaining there just haven’t familiarized themselves with the south east. South Carolina, for instance, has everything California has with none of the BS and it’s actually far BETTER in terms of beaches and water temperature, even weather. Hurricanes are a drawback, but then again, so are earthquakes.

Simmons knows what side his bread is buttered on. He has said that if it weren’t for Allied troops liberating his mother from a Nazi concentration camp, he wouldn’t be alive today, so he owes a debt of gratitude to the U.S. military, and he walks the walk.

We westerners don’t adapt well to the oppressive humidity. When it’s above 60 degrees, the humidity needs to be below 20% or we melt and die.
At 92 degrees and 94% humidity, we are already dead and decaying rapidly.
