Germany’s WWII soldiers grew up during a BRUTAL time in Germany’s history.
WWII American soldiers had just come out of the BRUTAL depression and life was hard to begin with then.
The French revolution...forget about it.
Many in the northern army during the civil war either came from horrifically messed up countries or were pretty poor to begin with.
The lie that that many, or even CLOSE to many wealthy slave holders fought for the south is just that...a lie.
Most were far from wealthy and had grown up doing very hard work. They were also fiercely loyal to the southern way of life (that included MANY things besides slavery)
The “warriors” of ANTIFA and BLM cry when they can’t get the newest pair of 400 dollar sneakers, and that goes for welfare folks too.
They are not used to starving, being cold, being weary, being shot at, being terrified, having to fight just for food and a roof.
It wouldn’t be much of a civil war.
I wouldn’t count on that.
They will call for foreign help on day 1.
They are also much more organized than conservatives, because they are allowed to.
But as you point out, they are not tough people, just bullies and we all know they way to deal with bullies is to punch them in the nose (real hard). Repeat as necessary.
