Depending on your department, they’ve likely blocked all public, non-governmental email portals. This is pretty standard to prevent data loss.

Gmail is always dropping out on me. I use a wireless hotspot with ATT.

It us not a good idea to have your personal e-mail on your work device. I just use my personal phone.

At my agency we cannot access any outside email at all. All of my private email domains are blocked addresses in the available browsers.

Use of non work related email software was clearly listed as a “aw hell no” in my IT security agreement when I was a government employee.

Are you using a the browser interface or trying to connect a mail client to Gmail? Before I retired, the browser interface worked fine. Trying to connect a mail client was impossible. There was only one client on my computer, I couldn’t install another, the client (Outlook) could not be reconfigured, plus all the outgoing mail ports were blocked on the network.

"Are there any other US government employees having issues..."

As long as they aren't cut off from JoeBiden.com. the DNC, CPUSA, porn websites, BLM.com, or their non-federal side-business, they have no issues...

Paychecks keep rolling...
