None of this makes any sense.

The repair shop owner made a copy and gave the copy to Giuliani.
Now Giuliani turned over “the laptop/hard drive” to the Delaware police?
Mystery 1:
Who would make a copy of a laptop? What does that even mean? Surely it means the repair shop guy copied the contents onto a hard drive.
Mystery 2:
If what Giuliani has is a copy of the contents of the laptop hard drive, then surely he made another copy before he turned one copy over to the Delaware police. So if he wants to turn another copy over to the US Marshalls he can do it.

Rudy probably knew the Delaware police were going to do this (i.e., turn the evidence over to the FBI for safekeeping and ultimately destruction or “loss”). I mean, Biden is like the king of Delaware so who would believe that anyone in his own domain would prosecute him?
I have to assume that the US Marshalls was always the intended destination for any real investigation and/or legal action.
