Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said that if Americans are weary of coronavirus lockdowns and the fallout from socioeconomic restrictions related to the pandemic, they should vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Election Day instead of President Donald Trump.

"If you're tired of lockdowns, or you're tired of wearing masks, or you wish you were in church this morning or watching college football or your kids were in-person instruction, it is time for change in this country, and that's why we've got to elect Joe Biden," Whitmer told Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press" Sunday.

Is it against Michigan law to use state government resources and funds to campaign against a sitting president?

No, all she's doing is talking. I don't know the law, but I suspect she can get away with a lot of things without breaking the law.

It must be opposite day. Biden is talking about a mask mandate and shutting the country down again. If you’re sick of masks and shutdowns would you really vote for him? Not unless it’s all a scam, and Biden’s planning to open everything up after he gets elected and the media stops pushing the COVID story. But hey, if she works on it a little, she could probably set her Biden pitch to the tune of the “Pina Colada Song.”

Thanks for the mention...though I’d much rather see an actual prosecution of Cuomo, Whitless and the rest of the serial-killer govs than get any credit for raising the issue.
