The Covid virus is smaller than that size. It’s about 90 nanometers wide.
This doesn’t mean the mask doesn’t work. Covid viruses don’t float in the air alone. They are generally always riding on an aerosol particle of moisture and it is 1 micron or larger in size. The masks stop that.
