My main take away from this weeks live stream is the absolute necessity of moving out of leftist controlled enclaves. It may require abandoning businesses and homes. But it’s better than losing ones life or rotting in jail because one used their right of self defense only to have a leftist DA charge you with murder.
Don’t go to rioting hot spots. This pretty much negates any self-defense claim. Sad but true as we have observed in numerous instances —Rittenhouse, Proud Boys. The McCloskys case is telling how defense of hearth and home will be treated by leftist DA, in spite of castle doctrines.
I moved 25 years ago to get out of Los Angeles. Water is an issue if infrastructure fails. Idaho, Montana and Wyoming are not feasible at this time. Northern Alabama may be a possibility.
As D-day approaches each weekly live stream is increasingly vital and focused. If one is easily depressed, be sure to have an adult beverage in hand.
One other discussion point — SBRs. Bracken explained that many have not considered the implications of firing an HG or AR in an enclosed space (house or car). This will cause permanent hearing loss, even deafness. SBRs have even greater muzzle blast and greater potential for damage on unprotected ears. He doesn’t understand the popularity of SBRs. Military operators employ them suppressed not naked.
Bracken recommends plugs that can be inserted one hand at a time. Situational dynamics will indicate whether muffs or plugs are even feasible. I took a “Street Survival” course from James Jarrett years ago. The unit on carjackings used a trainer vehicle with no windshield or side windows. Even when muffed it was excruciatingly painful hearingwise to fire a HG within the vehicle. Compare that to a bedroom with low ceilings and the blast from an unsuppressed AR. This compelled me to make hearing protection available throughout my home and to suppress my PDW.
Out and about I always carry plugs, even though their NRR is not as effective as muffs — better than nothing.

Must of missed that part, would you please elaborate.

SBR — short barreled rifle
HG — Hand gun
PDW — personal defensive weapon
NRR — noise reduction rating
These ideal states are not feasible for me at this time. I don’t have the time to acquire property and arrange a move on my retirement income.
I moved from Calif/LA To AZ in 1995. This was a major undertaking — quite disruptive — but necessary at that time. I find a job to support the move. Even then it was problematic — had to move the wife and two children. And It wasn’t clear how long the contract job would last.
I have a good friend in Shoneshone/WY which makes that a destination desirable. I might address this after the presidential election clarifies. I may have to ride out CW2 in the desert.
