Thanks again! We’ve done that in the past, with my daughter, when she was little. just fast fowarded through certain scenes. Those things are almost never essential to the main plot, they’re just put in to jazz things up. Which is fine too, I have no objection to adult level entertainment.

Remember that movie that everybody loved so much, “Sideways”? About a couple of guys having life issues as they wandered through the California wine country (that’s how I remember it). I think it even won Best Picture at the Oscars.

It was an OK movie, but the thing that was great about it was that it bored my then teenage daughter half to death. She watched about one minute of it. I was like: good, something for the grownups for once!

Becoming a parent sure changes perspective. I watched the movie "Risen," before my daughter was born, and thought, this is a great, thought provoking Christian movie (which it is).

After my daughter was born, I watched it again, and all of a sudden the crucifixion scene, rotting corpses on Golgotha, etc. were a LOT more noticeable.
