Here in North Central Texas people are being much more polite to each other than they used to be. They are holding doors open for each other, saying Please and Thank you and calling each other Mam’ and Sir.
In addition to dismantling the Deep State, and making America energy-independent and a manufacturer and net exporter of goods, I'd like to see Trump, in his 2nd term, start to help bring some sense of civic life back to America. But he can't do it alone. It's a cultural thing. It requires strong families and being taught values at home. It will take generations to start the healing process.
Fortunately that isn’t going on where I live.
Bill Bennett wrote a book back in the 90’s called “The Death of Outrage” in response to the Clinton scandal.
Unfortunately it’s only been downhill ever since. The book, and history, point to the loss of religion and allegiance to a higher being. It’s all about Darwinism now and survival of one’s own self.

It’s not new or sudden. Things like this don’t happen overnight

We’re in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Our community is heavily Dem and there have been a lot of ugly things said and plenty of virtue signalling over the summer. However, it seems to me that things are less inflamed now than they were a couple of months ago. With kids going back to some semblance of school and people getting weary of the non-stop bad news, I think many have resolved to find a way to get along with their neighbors. I don’t see as many BLM signs as I did in June and July, which I take as a positive. Election day is likely to be tense, but day to day interactions aren’t so bad just now.

Leftist try to blame Trump for all our worst. Teump simply exposed the tumor that is growing I American society and American institutions. This kind of social breakdown is the inevitable result of Leftist beliefs.
People we are witnessing the beginning of the subjugation of America. First the masks. The socialists are testing America to see how much they can get away with.
Next will come the mandate of vaccinations for all.
Hard to tell what will follow but if they can scare everyone into masks over this chirona then they will have accomplished the first phase.
