Yes, it is (in general). Covid does go bad near then end of the 14 days. But Fauci needs to not be commenting on a patient’s situation and especially one that he’s not seeing or treating.

Most Doctors would say “No comment. I’m not treating that person”

Bull Feces! CDC quote below. Mild to Moderate symptoms there is no chance of virus replication (no recorded case).

The likelihood of recovering a replication-competent virus also declines after the onset of symptoms. For patients with mild to moderate COVID-19, the replication-competent virus has not been recovered after 10 days following symptom onset.

But what was not being stressed is that for 95 percent of all cases of folks who are over the age of 70 who do get the virus, those folks won’t get the “crash” in the last 3 days. They just recover. Trump has no co-morbidities other that being a little overweight.

Fauci should have stressed that point but instead he decided to ratchet up the fear porn or the news source selectively parsed Fauci’s remarks...or both!
